I will assume for the moment that you are serious, although all my instincts tell me you gotta be joking. Howard Dean would carry more electoral votes than Hillary, in my opinion, in any election year. If you are serious, then I have to assume that you find her an attractive candidate and reason, therefore, that that popularity would apply across the country.

You're also forgetting that the Dems would be putting forward another liberal northeast senator.

Not only is she unelectable, I think her performance in the primaries would rival Lieberman's '04 performance, at best.
