Ted...don't mess with mother nature. Apparently housing developers have. Years ago, people who moved to FL were smart enough not to build large houses and put them in harms way.
It also seems we have about twice as many people as we can safely evacuate in a tmely manner. I guess you get the picture.

Now we have global warming and the oceans are warmer. As you know this fuels hurricanes. Not only that but weather patterns have shifted making Florida a hurricane magnet.
