However you are reserving the right to decide whom you invade, and when and how and why, so we'll all have to keep close watch on you

It is noted that you are still occupying the northern half of México, so you might be interested in the fact that today is the anniversary of Independencia for the still-free southern portion ... also yesterday was the 150th anniversary of the national anthem, mexicanos all over the world sang it [although in this house we were a few hours late, working and all] .... considerable typing was done upthread on the tendency of people to band together against attacking outsiders, well singing the anthem reminded me of how much it is entirely a call to arms against invaders .... not surprising considering events just prior to 1854 .... i don't see a well-done translation on the net [but in looking, discovered you can put el Himno Nacional on your Nokia cellphone as the ringtone, also God Defend New Zealand, presumably God Save the Queen and the Jimi Hendrix version of SSB as well], but there is this - thesitefights.com

[edit] - hmm, read the SSB there and it's pretty entirely bellicose .... gee, in Canada we just 'stand on guard for thee', and quite politely, too [although the french version does wave around Sword and Cross a bit]

This site is better, has english somewhere but i don't see a link - mexicolindo.org.mx
