A lot of women don't know Jane Fonda because when she was an activist about 30 years ago, they were not yet born or they were still in their diapers or toddlers' clothes. As Americans don't care for celebrities long past their prime, they don't know Jane until she showed up on TV yesterday. Wanna know something quite funny? In the weeks and months following 9/11, I was attacked on the Gold Price Monitor thread for my so-called anti-Americanisms and what not. Then some folks there thought I was someone associated with Jane Fonda in her campaign to end the Vietnam War in the early 70s. And there was one poster who suspected I might be some leftist politician from that period. LOL! And my name caused some folks to think I was German and they tried their damndest to label me as a Nazi. (All of them failed, thanks to sensibilities and sensitivities of lots of folks.) But little did they know that "Richnorth" is a combo of "North" and "Rich" which is reflective of the mineral-rich farnorth where I once lived. BTW, there is an English name, Northrich, which I could have used. But I prefer "Richnorth" as it is kinda' original and my fellow residents in the far north love the sound of it.
