The wars in Afghanistan (weaken Al Qaeda and the Taliban) and Iraq (remove Saddam's regime) have been resounding successes. But the current situation in Iraq (establish a democratic state where there appears to be minimal local popular support for the idea) is failing. Will George tell the American people the truth, and state something along the lines of "The US military will remain in Iraq for the next 30 years fighting a guerilla war with the local people, if that's what it takes to stabilize their country." "And if after 30 years things aren't improved from the current guerrilla warfare situation, we'll consider other options." Who's gonna vote for that policy? Elroy
