(AP) Miami, Fla. The Democratic National Committee today demanded a recount of the poll results aquired for the September 17, 2004 Gallup Poll showing President Bush with a 13% national lead over Senator John Kerry. The Committee cited procedural errors and instrumental malfunctions as two likely reasons for the unexpected poll results.

Florida DNC spokeswoman Isa Jagoff cited misleading polster telephone introductions such as "Hello", instead of the traditional Florida "Hiah" as confusing to a statistically significant number of Florida Democrats.

Furthermore, a recent University of Central Florida study has definitively established that a full 34% of Florida Democrats have yet to master the complex task of answering a push-button telephone, introducing an additional bias to the data.

The Democratic National Committee has filed a complaint with the The American Civil Liberties Union, who thereafter airlifted 24 ACLU attorneys to the embattled state.
