I thought that Dick Morris was up in arms about the NYT polls a while back doing weighting.

If weighting is done, it removes a portion of the data collection error. But, it also removes a bit of the partisan fudge factor that these polls like to employ. Combine this sample error with their introduction of bias via the 'likely voter' category, and you can steer a poll just about any way you want.

Well, let them believe obviously manipulated poll results. Maybe it will lull them into a false sense of superiority...
