The people I know in the media would be the last in the world to be afraid of any U.S. politician. I have to limit that to U.S. politicians, because I imagine that some would be afraid of someone like Saddam Hussein if he were still in power.

What has this "very vindictive" White House (which is how the left describes all Republican WH's) done to any press people? On what grounds do you compare the WH with the mafia? You're dreamin'.

There are a lot more media than there are politicians, and long after the politicians are gone, the media are still there to re-write history.
