So back on point, Bush Sr wrote a letter encouraging suck-up behavior for the privileged, rather than taking the higher ethical ground by guiding the person to appropriate conduct.

You were never helped by your parents in number of ways that you may never ever find out about. And you will not try to give your kids the best start in life, way better than the underprivileged kids.

It seems to me that a lot of people are acting like they were born yesterday.
