You know what I meant...Kerry did not respond to the swifties for several weeks. But when the lies began to take traction, and it was shown that the Bush campaign actually had ties to the group, including a major Bush contributor and a Bush Campaign lawyer, then maybe Kerry felt he needed to address these attacks...or it could cost him the election. He tried to take the high road, but the lies being hurled about by the shifty swifties had to be addressed.
