The tax cuts ARE the core of the problem. The bubble came and went, leaving most Americans pretty much where they were. If Bush was concerned that the bubble artificially raised tax revenues for a brief period, he should not have pushed for a cut at it's height.

cirrus - you typed an entire page without mentioned the core causes of the problem.
