Democratic presidential challenger John Kerry said President Bush has a secret plan to call up more National Guard and Reserve troops immediately after the election, an allegation that the Bush campaign called "false and ridiculous."

Kerry told the National Guard convention this past week that their service was every bit as important as that of the regular military. Perhaps he ought to make that point to his wife, who called Bush a "draft dodger" for signing up for the National Guard during the Vietnam war. Just another example of Kerry talking out of both sides of his mouth and saying anything he thinks will help him win. If you believe in secret plans, you must've voted for Nixon in 1968.
