Burkett, obviously. This thread is really being pulled. If it touches ANYONE in the Kerry Kamp............... That's not clear to me at this moment. Burkett's hand is in there but it's hard to see even Mapes vouching for Burkett alone the way she did. Was she really ready to commit professional suicide to get this story on the air? I begin to scent the presence of another more respectable person, who laundered Burkett and the memos for Mapes' approval. Just speculation.
