We are not likely to invade Iran -- and they are likely to have nuclear weapons very soon.

Allowing a rogue fundamentalist Islamic state such as Iran to become a nuclear power would be seen as a capitulation and a sign of weakness by every terrorist.

Best to make plans for a world in which Iran has nuclear weapons and the ability to use them. Ditto for several other countries who saw what happened to Iraq because they lacked nuclear weapons.

I don't believe planning for a terrorist nuclear detonation in North America is a better alternative.

The best way for Iran to escape the chaos and ruin of a US invasion is to get the bomb ASAP -- exactly as they are doing.

I don't agree. I believe the best way for Iran to avoid an invasion is dismantle their uranium enrichment and weapons programs.

Will we invade? Such lunacy is not without a handful of supporters in the US -- and that is all it seems to take to start a war these days.

That decision is up to the fundamentalist Islamic mulahs who run Iran.

While we debate this absurd issue, terrorist are busy scouring Russia for nukes and nuke capability -- and they just might succeed.

Putin won't let that happen.
