How about this: The jerking done by chiroquacks can hardly be considered carefully controlled precise application of force. ANd the application of enough force to move the vertebrae is just as likely to cause trouble as fix something. In fact more likely because the "subluxation" is only in one small region whereas the force is applied along the entire spine and, if it can move those bones, is likely to move some of them that were not pressuring nerves to do so.
