Ivan, re: protective puts

I often use protective puts, but wouldn't want to give you specific advice, it would be better for you to contact a broker that has experience in and understands options, and can look at your portfolio.

The thing to remember is that protective puts are like paying insurance premiums, they will almost always be worthless, but if Hurricane Andrew comes along, you will be glad you had them.
