What do I estimate for WIND’s qtr earnings expected August 21 after the markets close?

My projections range from 13 cents to 15 cents per share, depending on the CAGR of 32-bit microprocessors (a low of 50% to an assumed high of 75%). Since these are projections, I would estimate quarterly earnings of 12 or 13 cents vs. the Street’s estimate of 11 cents. I would estimate revenues in the range of $13.9 million to $14.4 million. This compares to $13.6 million by the Street.

I don’t know. I’m not a trader or a market timer. However, in the past WIND’s stock price seemed to elevate prior to quarterly announcements, then fall off slightly afterward. Why? Maybe traders buy on rumor and sell on news.

By the way, the Olympics was an enjoyable experience.
