Eric Strohmeyer: Saw the offer, but have not looked closely at it or the implications for SFL. SFL is more difficult for me to figure than other tanker stocks because of its relationship to controlling stockholder FRO.

It seems to me that tanker stocks historically have sold at low multiplies (when they've had earnings).

I'm holding my tanker shares but I'm wary because of the move these stocks already have had.

Perhaps you are right though that the SJH offer indicates that it might be a good bet to add to SFL (or FRO) positions. I will consider this.
