Bought 2000 VTEL at 7 3/8 today. VTEL's smart conferencing products are of the best quality as recently evidenced by their use at the Denver summit of world leaders. Additionally, PCTL has lost several accounts at the hands of VTEL (ie Nortel) and this is a trend which should continue to play out. The only concern I have is whether management can make a smoth transition following the aquisiton of CLIX. However, the stock price already reflects this risk and a little more. Since VTEL is trading right around it's book value of 6.3 a share I see very little downside with a lot of upside potential. Additionally, Intel's 10% stake could make for interesting developments, as CHPS investors recently found out. These things usually take a while but patience with this one will be rewarded handsomely. Good luck all.
