First of all don't take anything I print personally. I truly enjoy these spirited discussions and every once in awhile I have this overwhelming need to pick at someone's ego.
CDMA versus TDMA has nothing to do with quality, it has everything to do with capacity. Yes, CDMA does provide more capacity, I believe about twice that of TDMA.
You have it backwards in terms of ability to punch through buildings. TDMA is actually more powerful in going through structures, that is part of the reason that G* went to a "bent pipe" system so they could penetrate buildings. TDMA does have some difficulties in penetrating buildings and that is why they will tie into ground systems where available. There will be no difficulties in communicating into and out of buildings. Yes Iridium does in fact have the only truly global system. I find it hard to believe that downtown India does not have cellular service. However, that makes exactly zero difference because Iridium will still utilize the same ground system that G* must utilized in order to get inside.
