Re: American military should not be sacrificed as window dressing for candy-ass politicians. Fight to win. That's it. No alternative is acceptable. In my heart, I wholeheartedly agree. Were I King... But in my head...in the present not so real clear world where we are the hammer without which all politics would fail, there must be a nod to the politicians to work their wiles. Also, the definition of "winning" is no longer universal and clear as it may have been in the past...That definition is the prerogative of the Commander in Chief...all the more reason why we must have a principled man...er...person at that post. jj@MarinesRus
