According to PC World (the top PC magazine IMO), the Cyrix 200+ and
the Pentium 200 have identical scores overall after testing with
all their real-world application benchmarks. From my experience,
since I've used both, I would say that PC World had accurate results.

Now let's think...

I Pentium 133 with motherboard is much slower and costs $50 more
than a Cyrix 200+ with motherboard. A Cyrix 200+ blows a Pentium 133
away in performance, there is abslutely no comparison...but yet it
*STILL* costs $50 more..or are you going to argue that a Pentium 133
(which costs more) is faster than a Cyrix 200+?????

The point is if I had used my money to buy intel, I'd be chugging
away with a Pentium 120 while my friends, who spent the same amount,
enjoy the power of a Cyrix 200+.
