It wasn't really the fact that he did the show that bothered me. I just don't think it is very presidential to make remarks about how "Bush mortgaged our future" in the context of a joke. Had he said, "Listen, it is my view that Bush has mortgaged our future with this horrid war", that would have been different.

I have serious doubts about presidential candidates who subject themselves to "briefs or boxers" interrogation during the campaign. So much pandering. But what else is new?
