Well, with that degree of confusion in your own mind, no wonder you'll never be effective in the political arena. Apparently, every time you have a heart-felt ideal that you'd like to struggle for, you'll be able (with ease) to argue yourself out of your own position.

Or, as the Firesign Theater of the Absurd put it decades ago, "how can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?"

Don't take that personally. It was just tossed out as a bon mots on the nature of the human condition. At least you are part of the human race. That's certainly more than we can say for Karl Rove and his little marionette, the Bonny Prince George.
