Digitimes has issued a correction noting that the source of their information was not "AMD Taiwan", but rather, taiwanese motherboard makers. That, combined with the incorrect translation of their own article ("Athlon 64" in chinese --> "K8" in english version), added to analyst and company claims about ~1M K8s in Q2, makes me doubt that the 600K figure (if that even purports to be a global figure) includes Opteron and Mobile. I suspect these mobo makers are talking about the number of desktop A64 mobos they expect to sell in Q3. That might leave out any non-Taiwan contract orders from larger OEMs, should those exist in any quantity, in addition to mobile and server boards. Doug
