According to Zogby the "investor class" has all but disintegrated as a voting bloc. Probably because most of the investor class from the 90s was white collar workers who are facing wage pressure and disintegrated portfolios.

This decline of the investor class as a group is one of Zogby's favorite topics, he has some interesting things to say about it on various talk shows.
