LOL. Left of what? Cheney is for gay marriage and drags Mary along with him on campaign runs. That puts Cheney to the left of Kerry and Edwards.

Some people call Clinton the first black president. Others call Clinton a republican president who finished what Reagan started. What makes more sense? Get rid of the ancient labels or make people change their stance on policy?

Who knows what it takes for people to change their minds? It's pretty obvious that Republicans still vote for parties and policies that work against their own best interests. The party propaganda machine works well but it's also been at it relentlessly for decades.

The right-wing radio propaganda machine has been at it for 15 years. Air America just started this year. It's up to 30 stations but what took the non right-wing so long?

I don't think Rove is laughing right now. His guy is an incumbent president at a time of war. His guy should be a shoo-in for reelection not fighting even and against a Mass senator no less. With a Republican dominated Congress, his side should have dismantled social security, public education, welfare and every other non-corporate entitlement program. They're behind and they've been found out.

Subscribing to an ideology put together by someone else isn't standing for something. It's being part of the crowd. Nothing more.
