I have been watching elections closely since 1944 when Dewey ran against FDR. I campaigned for Hubert Humphrey and Harry Truman in 1948. I followed the 52 election and 56 election very closely. I was chair of the Kennedy Organization on the UW campus in the 1960 election. Still have the PT boat tie clasp given to me by Ted Kennedy.
