Again, I don't pick and choose from a basket of ideologies. I don't care about an ideology. I care about having my own opinions.

Why do you care so much about subscribing to a narrow set of views developed by someone else? Make up your own and don't label it. This is the problem with the radical right, this is the problem with fundamentalists, this is the problem with anyone who is so wedded to someone else's opinions that they've ceased to form their own.

What, I can't want to balance the budget and expect the able-bodied to work for a living and still thinks it's a good idea to have a social security and medicare safety net? Oh yes, I think if those able-bodied, able-minded people want to have guns, fine by me. If they use them illegally, they go to jail for a very long time where they should work to pay back those whom they've hurt.

I believe in capitalism but I also know that capitalism has to be regulated by government in order to work. I do not believe that a progressive tax system is anti-capitalism, as with regulations I think it is pro-capitalism. If gays want to get married, why the heck should I care? Fine by me if two people want to take some legal responsibility and have some legal benefits for another adult.

I don't care what basket my opinions do or do not fit into. Tough noogies.
