stupidity of adopting an "Anybody But Bush" stance

If you were living in WWII Germany and had the chance to vote Hitler out by supporting whoever was facing him, would you not adopt an "Anybody but Hitler" stance?

Yes, it has its own uncertainties (Who knows what kind of a president Kerry would be?) but this view at least gets rid of the one you already tried. The one who lied to Americans to send your sons and daughters to an unnecessary war. How many Americans would have supported the invasion of Iraq if they knew Iraq had no connection to 9/11 and had no WMDs?

As another poster was saying, you might as well kiss a new toad and hope he turns to a prince, because the previous one pissed all over your hand :-)
