WAIT A MINUTE! You have the stances reversed here. ABB implies it IS acceptable to vote for a monster because that monster is not Bush. YOU are the one promoting that view.

Uh, this IS SI we are on. And surely you have noticed the rather heavy concentration of Kerry cheerleaders on that thread. Now what of these people? As I pointed out, not so long ago, they opposed most of what he accepts as given. What you say "hypocrisy"?

The fact that you refuse to recognize reason because it does not lead where you want to go does not mean it is not that.

I won't dispute that. So was I. But they seem to have completely forgotten that. In fact, a number of them who had been doing so opposed the US action against Afghanistan after 911.

I don't understand where you are going with this. Even if you are to prove that ALL SI POSTERS who want "Anyone but Bush" are "stupid", that is not really proof that the "stance" itself is so.
You threw that in for comic relief, right?
