Al, the way I understood it, the Arabs won't stop with Palestine, or even "historic Palestine," i.e. the destruction of Israel. Israel thus becomes the front-line defense in keeping the Arabs in check.

But I can see why you believe otherwise, and how Scumbria's "dated right-wing notion" might be interpreted as the next "domino theory."
