I must have missed that discussion! IMO Bush has completely mishandled the economy (and I'm a fiscal conservative Republican). I will say Bush is good at excuses, but I believe in accountability. If Bush worked for me, I would fire him.

Even today we get more bad fiscal news as Bush is dipping into a $25 Billion emergency fund for Iraq. Earlier this year Bush said this wouldn't be touched UNTIL next year. How bad are these guys at planning? The answer is: REAL BAD.

Even GOP Senators are criticizing Bush. Senator McCain complained about spending "like a drunken sailor" (I think that is unfair to drunken sailors<g>). Senator Hagel (R-NEB) said "Republicans used to believe in balanced budgets. Republicans used to believe in fiscal responsibility, limited international entanglements and limited government. We have lost our way."

Hey wait, Bush does work for me and I will fire him on Nov 2nd. If you believe in accountability and not excuses, I hope you will join me.
