Just came back from Bermuda on a speaking engagement and run my model indicators - all remained extremely bearish in the last several days. I received the "Final Confirmation" signal. The sell-off had just started. We will very likely see NASDAQ (and other indices) testing 2004 low, likely to break to new 2004 low. There are tons of bad news, the technical strength in the last several weeks simply ignored them since the market kept going higher. The market always work that way - giving false impression of great strength and trap the "dump money" in at high price. When the uptrend is broken, all attention will turn to the negative implication of news and events. The fear will snowball and trigger a big sell-off before year end. Sadly there are always investors "Buy high and sell low".
