Playing La Jolla Pharm.

No sir, not playing them. I didn't have a good feeling in that market at that time to add another long, but I posted it here in case anyone wanted to investigate the chart. Looking at it's movements I would have been out in about a week after having it in play.

Another local stock recently got hammered. I was sitting in the airplane next to him recently as he was returning to san diego from some bio-tech conference in san francisco. Their office is about a 5 minute walk from my home. MAXM is the ticker. At that time I had a biotech in play that was PPHM, but looking to average down and exit on a local dead cat bounce.

I haven't run a stock and chart screen in a while, nor established many new positions this month as you may have seen. The Japan trip interfered with a good play I woulda had on CHU that took it out of my comfort zone and other things seem to be out of my comfort levels. Since I don't have to trade, I will wait for opportunity to strike.

Ever read Reminiscences of a Stock Operator? it's a fun read, but not really learning anything I am aware of learning with it.
