All efforts must be made to contain all significant quantities of nuclear materials. Bush isn't bothering to do this with whatever is still floating in, around and out of the former Soviet Union. Heck, the genie has been out of the bag for decades.

Do you remember Timothy McVeigh? That was fertilizer in a rental truck and he wasn't even a muslim extremist.

You should always be skeptical of the government. Always. Power corrupts or do you not believe that? Do you think that peaceful protesters should be met with storm trooping thugs so they can't be heard? Do you think that the Constitution should be suspended whenever the President declares that we're at war?

Give the government, any government of any ilk lots of power with no public oversight and you will lose all of your rights in the blink of an eye.
