Brian, The reason you cannot prove anything to me, about the topic of discussion, is because you have no proof. You are trying to prove the authenticity of a book with the book itself. That's like saying that the koran is the word of God, by reading it with the mind set that it is, absolutely, the truth, even though it was written by an arab, with questionable motives, named mohammed.
You believe that the bible is the word of God, because the book says it is. If you want to, totally, believe in something because it tells you to, that is your business, and you are welcome to it, but I do not go forth into the world with my eyes blinded, and my mind closed. |
