Jack P, re:AMD 25% market share. What I intended to say was that, until *and IF* AMD reaches 25% market share, its sales and earnings would be growing faster than Intel's and deserve a higher PE. I don't think they could ever go beyond that so they would have to live with the growth of the PC market in general after that. Salomon Brother's analyst, who rates both AMD and Intel a "strong buy" expects AMD to achieve 15% market share by the end of '98. There's some precedence for this as they achieved 20% market share of the 386 market in the late 80's. Petz
