My view is that Kerry's 'indecision' is because (aside from personal flaws) he is a debater: he has no views. My bet is that Bush may be able to 'push his buttons and make Kerry look like the fool he is'.

Kerry is a man that has recently become a Jew, descended from European royalty, has carried around schrapnel (never having been hospitalized for the wound), did 2 'tours' in Vietnam (in only 4 months), killed 20 vietnamese (per website docs ... but never mentions it), was in NROTC at Yale (per letter to editor in the Boston Globe) which service is not mentioned in his Navy record, signed the usual security clearance document stating that he never spoke to or was a member of a whole bunch of organizations (and he did and may have been), and of course has Christmas in Cambodia 'seared' into his memory.

And since nobody has gotten Kerry's docs direct from the gov't, why do we presume they are not forged? Looking closely at them --- the printed part of some of the forms looks like it's 'out of focus' vv the typed part. Anybody making book on it?

This behaviour is built in to Kerry. It will be hard for him not to do it again.
