<<< How do we evaluate the cost-benefit analysis? How many living Iraqi children are equivalent to one dead or maimed American soldier? What is the value of being able to go to a school that has computers? What is the value of being able to have your own business? What is the value of being able to vote? To worship freely?

Maybe you have a calculator for that one, I don't.>>>

Rebuilding Iraq and saving Iraqi children are not reasons Americans were told why we went to war with Iraq.

Now that we are there, we are obligated to minimize the suffering of Iraqi children. But even there, we are not doing that much. We have just deferred previously allocated rebuilding funds and the Iraq population will not have clean water and adequate sanitation - not even to prewar levels.

I understand what you are saying (I think) and I am in agreement, but that is not what I am hearing from the Administration.

You are now in a position where you all agree to attack the other side but you are not in agreement with each other.
What you believe in is totally different than what Nadine beleives in - and there three or four different flavors of those beliefs. But, you all think the administration think what you are thinking.
