Thank you for restoring some sanity to the discussion. No, regardless of anyone's opinion of Bush, he is not or Mao or Pol Pot or Stalin or any of a large arrey of monsters. He is POTUS, which gives a good deal of power, but also holds him within bounds. If he gets out of those bounds, Congress can and will impeach and he is out. Regardless of the views anyone has of Bush, we still have the rule of law, legislatures, free speech (else how could there be so much criticism of him by US citizens living in the US?), a free press, and scheduled elections which he is campaigning for. Hitler snuck into the German Chancellorship once and that was the end of German democracy. Such hardly appears to be the plan of GWB.
