There is no link, I watched Kerry's "press conference" on MSNBC about 1/2 hour after Allawi gave his speech to a joint session of Congress. Allawi spoke of the progress being made in Iraq, and the fact that elections COULD be held in 15 of the 18 provinces of Iraq today . Even knowing what Allawi had just said, Kerry told a very different view as if he had a clue. What IS interesting is that Kerry was in Ohio...rather than in Congress today...That in itself speaks volumes to me. For months Kerry has been talking about the fake coalition out one side of his mouth and saying he will bring other countries in out the other side of his botoxed face. Yet he cannot even show enough respect for an emerging Democracy and it's leader to show up.
