There is not one thing that can be said of Iraq, there are many, many true things that can be said. For example: It is true that opportunistic terrorists are flooding in. It is true that the call to arms is a reaction to American involvement. It is also true that the National Government and normalization in Iraq (less car bombs out side the living room) is moving forward. It is also true that all operations are at risk and any future attempts are risky. It is also true that some people would like to see the American economy flop and our military dismembered to give their guy a leg up in this dopy race for presidency.

The tunnel vision of American partisans wanting their guy to win a race is also true. It is remarkable the lengths people will go to in that regard.
