You can paint the picure for Bush as nicely as you want. Are you an operative of the Republican party? You sound like someone reading from Republican talking points. (I thought I put you on ignore?)

The fact is Bush tried to disparage the idea of nation building and derided the Dems for engaging in such idealistic activities. If I recall his exact words, he said that nation building is not a proper role for the U.S. military. I need to see the transcript to be sure. That would be fine if that was his position, but it turns out that he had two huge nation building efforts in mind as he spoke those words. Planning for the Iraq invasion was occuring even before he entered office. That is where Bush can be faulted for being a two-face liar.
