Kerry was not smearing 2.5 million soldiers either. Never did it. Bald-faced lie. He repped the soldiers and simply recounted some of the tales they told him that they had done. Every single one of those stories was true. Including the one SmearVet Gardner was responsible for, machine-gunning down an unarmed family against JK's orders. This testimony was extremely effective in helping to end the war and save thousands more soldiers. The war was hopeless by then. We could not win it. But the hawks refused to accept reality. What Bush did was go AWOl and let another man with a less elite family die in his place. There are two Texans with Bush's birthday on the Vietnam Wall. Which one of those did he send to his death by dodging the draft? Huh?
