The clean water coming out of your faucet is the result of the efforts of ENGINEERS, like me, who design the best damn water treatment facilities in the world based on the standards of the AWWA, the NSPE, the ASCE, and the ASME. It is our experience, expertise, and the collective knowlege and good engineering practices of the companies we work with or for, like Camp-Dresser-McKee, CH2MHill, Montgomery-Watson-Harza, Reynolds-Smith & Hills, etc., etc., ad infinitum, that keep the water moving to your crackerbox - and arrange for carrying the wastewater away when you're done with it....
It's the dumbazz, untrained tree-huggers that spout BS, like you, about subjects on which they have nary a clue - that get in the way, slow projects down, and result in GAZILLIONS OF WASTED DOLLARS for things like stupid-ass cooling canals at Nuke plants like Turkey Point in Florida; where all the fish and crusty critters that the idiots were worried about have now moved in as close as they can get to the Steam Condensers discharge...!!!
