LOL! I used the term "incorrigible conservative" loosely but with no disrespect. (Hey! It sounded better than "witch"!)

Well before Bush took office, neocons such a s Richard Perle were advancing an agenda akin to a "Pax Americana", with Baghdad the first target. September 11, created an opening and they filled it, persuading a rookie President who had only been outside the country 3 times in his life to sign on to this plan to remake the world in our image. Unfortunately, the "vision" people never got the nuts and bolts right. The result is an Iraq where, despite the President's pronouncements of progress, a hundred soldiers and a many more Iraqis per month ar dying. Our own intelligence agencies are convinced the future of Iraq is in doubt. Iran is enriching uranium. bin Laden is still a threat. Korea is still making noise. The Palestinean issue still burns. Brazil is developing nuclear weapons...

Tne neoconservative, unilateral foreign policy of George Bush has made us less safe than before - and he is asking us to "stay the course", saying in effect that to question his course is unpatriotic, demoralizes our troops and will lead to more terror attacks against America. He refuses to see his mistakes, which is the greatest danger of all.

Incorrigible conservative..moi??? Just took a test that placed me slightly right of center. This yr national security trumps all other issues. Does choosing the sensible course make one incorrigible?
