You (and the article) sort of failed to mention Cat's public support for the death sentence against Salman Rushdie.

Stevens was one of the best singer/songwriters of his era. I have all of his music. Saw him live multiple times. But one day he left it all to convert to Islam. So far, so good.

But the day he supported the death sentence for Rushdie, he lost me, and many Americans. Now, it appears he MAY have been funding terrorism.

That's enough for me.
