Thanks for the lighter story.

I couldn't agree more with the author, particularly
as to Kerry himself making the decision to run the
ad. That meshes perfectly with my overall impression
of him.

Nobody likes a whiner.

I'll give you a litigation parallel.

Plaintiff lawyers worth their salt do not
let the primary plaintiff do the whining. They
have that person describe their trauma, etc.,
but in a more stoic fashion. Then they bring
in the wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/children/
friends to describe the devastation of the plaintiff's
life they observed.

It's much more powerful and minimizes the chance
of the plaintiff turning off the jury.

A whiny ad complaining about another ad is hilarious.
What a wussy Mr. War Hero has become.....
