You have no clue what a real terrorist state looks like do you? Imagine another North Korea, but one whose sole goal is to inflict as much damage on the U.S. no matter what the cost. Imagine a North Korea with billions of dollars from oil revenues and access to scientists who know how to build a nuclear bomb and other forms of WMD. Imagine a North Korea who isn't just willing to bluster, but is willing to launch nuclear strikes against the U.S. despite certain destruction themselves. But before they were to inflict damage on the U.S. they would most certainly attack many of their neighbors to destabilize those regimes. That would result in a certain response from the U.N. Security Council, which would result in an even larger war than what we face today.

That is what Iraq can become, should we leave too early. I think you need to read a little history. The tack of sticking your head in the sand and pretending like we don't have a huge mess to clean up simply is naivete at best, and shear stupidity at worst.
